Trees and Other Debris

It's no secret that southern California has incredible weather. People flock from all over the country and the rest of the world to visit here, with visions of glassy blue ocean waves and palm trees swaying in the cool coastal air. What they do not see in movies and on TV are the turbulent winds that plague many inland areas.
In certain areas (the valley included), wind regularly tops the 50 MPH mark in short gusts. I myself have witnessed wind speeds faster than this in starts and stops during the spring and autumn months of the year. With winds like that, certain things are all but certain. For instance, debris will be picked up and thrown around. Tree branches will bend and groan under the heavy and hectic load of high-speed winds, too. Sometimes they even snap off and, depending on their size and weight, become formidable projectile weapons.
Aside from the obvious dangers of being caught in gales like these, there are secondary dangers to your property when debris is picked up. Branches can go through windows or roofs and often do. If that happens, make sure SERVPRO of Walnut is your first call. We can help make it "Like it never even happened."
